AADC: Gina Bass under 11 seconds in the 100m

Residents of the Dakar International Center (AADC) performed well during meetings in Martinique and Japan. The Gambian Gina Bass signed the best performance of her career by achieving 10”93 in the 100m. A first for the sprinter under 11 seconds. Which constitutes a new national record for The Gambia. The Malagasy Sidonie Fiadanantsoa also stood out with a time of 12”86 in the 100m Hurdles. She can aim for the ticket to Paris 2024. Louis François Mendy placed 2nd with a time of 13”50 in the 110m Hurdles. Like Gina Bass, he has already validated his visa for Paris 2024. Saly Sarr, with 14m08 in the Triple Jump, signs his best performance in this event.

Amadou Gakou's record threatened

The Senegalese Cheikh Tidiane Diouf, not a resident of AADC Dakar, clocked 45''03 in the 400m, thereby threatening the legendary national record of Amadou Gakou (45''01 established since 1968).
