World Athletics is delighted to announce the three finalists for the 2024 Men's Rising Star Award, which will recognise this year's best U20 athlete at the World Athletics Awards 2024.
The winner of the 2024 Men's Rising Star Award will be announced on World Athletics' platforms on 1 December.
The finalists are:
Mattia Furlani, Italy
• World U20 long jump record
• World indoor silver and Olympic bronze
Jaydon Hibbert, Jamaica
• World U20 triple jump lead
• Olympic fourth place
Niels Laros, Netherlands
• World U20 1000m record
• Olympic 1500m sixth place
