The President of the Cameroonian National Olympic Sports Committee (CNOSC) and also President of the Confederation of African Athletics, Hamad KALKABA MALBOUM was elected on October 12, 2024, Pioneer President of the Confederation of African Olympic Sports (CASOL). The ceremony took place in Yaoundé during the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA), in the presence of Mustapha Berraf, the President of ANOCA.
