The MoU relating to the organization of the 23rd African Senior Athletics Championships was initialed and signed on May 10, 2024, by the three main stakeholders, namely, the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education of the Republic of Cameroon (Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi), the Confederation of African Athletics (Mr Hamad KALKABA MALBOUM) and the Cameroonian Athletics Federation (Mr Emmanuel Motomby Mbome). The signing ceremony illustrates the commitment without reserves by the parties to successfully organize this major event of African Athletics. The Championships will be organized from June 21 to 26, 2024 at “Stade de la Réunification” in Douala.
